Today’s tutoring started with the Alien Message game, then moved into discussion of the challenges in conceptualizing prelinguistic and metalinguistic things, why candles and breath are the traditional starting points for meditation and for bridging the autonomous and conscious mind, and how that mirrors art as a starting place for bridging unconscious and conscious. Over the next few with this fellow we’ll likely play a bit with with four of my pals: Quine, Jung, Eco and Campbell!
